Learn more about the construction and running of this eco-friendly
boutique accommodation, native tree planting schemes and the 150
acre organically certified (OFNZ/FNOG) beef farm – and taste
some of this produce in the luxury organic food hamper.
Owner operators Ian and Anna Sizer have developed an environmental
strategy and implement sustainable tourism practices that reflect
their long-held commitment to preserving and enhancing their local
environment. A number of environmental initiatives aim to improve
their guests' enjoyment while giving them the peace of mind that
they are leaving a minimal footprint on their environment and
enhancing the community in which they live.

As the crow flies, Magic Cottages is a stone’s throw from
Kauri Cliffs golf course – they even share the same beach.
Only a short and scenic 20 minute drive along the Matauri Loop
